Corporate Public Relations - Fathead LLC

Preston Consulting was engaged by Fathead LLC to increase brand awareness of the NFL, NASCAR and College Football lines of the life-size Fathead wall graphics that are a popular gift, home décor item and a ‘must have’ collectible for the ultimate sports fan.

During a five-month period from September 2006 to January 2007 Preston Consulting implemented a series of ongoing public relations initiatives designed to raise the profile of the Fathead brand in the 32 NFL markets, selected college football markets and on a national broadcast platform.

Media hits and successful product placement were achieved through NFL official broadcasters, college radio affiliates, NFL team websites and publications, sports radio stations and prominent daily newspapers in news, sports, home and lifestyle sections.

Thinking 'outside the box' and implementing creative strategies was key to the success of the public relations consultation.

Initiatives included producing grassroots videos for popular websites such as YouTube.com, creating a buzz through sports fan websites and blogs, providing Fatheads as exclusive competition prizes and exploring unique means by which to place product within television sports chat shows and game-time broadcast booths.
